She seems mostly the same if not slightly better. She continues to move around a little bit more for food and water, and is more willing to attempt getting away from me. She's been chatting a bunch with the other birds for a while now too.
I can't see any visible damage on her feet, but I will continue keeping an eye on them and see if she gets better. I actually saw her briefly use her perch today too.
Also, would it help to continue giving her liquid calcium drops?

Sir Bubbles I don't think there is any need to continue the liquid calcium drops. They only help an egg bound hen, and I think we've all agreed by now that she is not egg bound.

Ok, thanks Sally. I was just curious if it would help her feel better in general.

Re: Zebra Finch has been egg bound for about 7 hours
Just a small update today. I saw her fly and grab the edge of the cage a couple of times while I was changing her food and water, as well as perching again. She seems to be doing a little bit better each day, being perkier and more talkative, but she still spends a fair bit of time by the heat lamp resting on the towel.
Part of me wants to put her back in the aviary already because she obviously really wants to go back in there with Melody, but I still feel like she might need another day or two. I don't want to risk the other birds chasing after her and that sort of thing when she's still trying to heal.

Re: Zebra Finch has been egg bound for about 7 hours
Just wanted to check in and say that things are still going okay with Sadi. I moved her back into the aviary a couple of days ago. Her activity is still the same and improving. I still can't tell if it's her wing or leg, but something on the right side of her was definitely hurt. She can fly and walk around but it's a little bit " tumbly " when she walks.
Unfortunately everyone has been taking turns picking on her. This happens every time I have to remove and reintroduce one of the birds. At least she's capable of avoiding them, but they have to get over it I guess.

if she is not well or 100% the other birds picking on her will further stress. I would keep her in a separate cage with a heat lamp on one side. Check her belly for white and yellow clouding, puffiness (swollen belly)
