Health Concern about my male zebra finch.

Thanks to finchforum that my abandoned baby zebra finch is now all right but I am worried about male zebra finch. whenever he flies too much he faints so u can say he has some breathing/stamina problem is there anything I can do?

several things can do this.... internal parasites (not mites) fatty liver (turn the bird over,wet the feathers, push the feathers off the lower belly look for a yellow thick meringue type build up)... fatty liver means the liver was hit by something like cocci or parasites, bacteria that effected the liver and it is not processing correctly.

See if the liver is enlarged... see if you see a liver bleed.

Look to see if the intestines are loopy and bulging/lumpy.

not sure what you are looking at pm me a picture.

Birds can have enlarged hearts also.

Something effecting the respiratory system can cause a bird not to fly well, not get enough oxygen.
