Strange hole under beak?

Post by tjmainari » Mon Oct 24, 2016 1:34 am

Hi! First time posting, relatively new to finches. Just picked up 2 beautiful gouldians from a wonderful local breeder today. Then I noticed this little hole, which seems old (not bleeding, wet, oozing, etc.). Just wanted to make sure there's nothing I should do for the little guy?

From the looks of it it could be from an injury, parasite, infection and/or disease. I think your best bet is to ask the breeder that you got him from.
Good luck
