Scatt overdose

Hi All,
I was applying Scatt to my flock of birds.To One of the bird who was severely suffering from ASM ,by dropper error i put 4-5 drops instead of 1 but luckily on the wings.Please suggest if the bird will survive.what could be the problem.It was by mistake,all other birds were given 1 drop only in the thigh skin.

I honestly don't know, but I think he should be okay. A quick wash under some warm water should wash most of it off. But then you may to give another dose when he's dry. How is he doing?

Thanks,he is eating normally.But slightly heavy breathing & tail is waging every time he breathes. Although he looks normal,I can say more tomorrow as he is sleeping now .

To my surprise the bird is doing verywell after scatt application.No more clicking sound.And he is also eating normally.

That's good. One of the main risks of a Scatt overdose is a buildup of dead air sac mites, causing shortness of breath and potential asphyxiation, but it seems like he's over that phase, so you shouldn't have much else to worry about.
