Can't realy see any mite as such, with some birds they tend to get dried feases underneath their foot, quite often this can be carefully peeled of with yer fingers, if it feels to hard try applying warm water to the birds foot, this should then quite easily clean the whole of the foot,
Hope all goes well

One of my canaries had a dry looking foot that looked similar to that. I wanted to trim his nails so when caught him to do his nails I also poured warm water over his foot, then poured a cap full of peroxide on it , dried it off and then I massaged a antibiotic cream . He seemed to enjoy it. Just an idea.

Looks like Bumblefoot from what I can see in the picture.
Here's a good article about different foot problems which you might find helpful...

Looks like it might have been caught in the cage wire. I would leave it alone, and it should heal on its own.

Good news.
Once it's healed, I would discontinue the hydrogen peroxide, seeing as it's extremely drying ànd shouldn't be used for too long.
I'm glad to hear that he's feeling better

If there is still a wound, I would use a dab of Polysporin antibiotic cream and rub it in.
If there is no wound, then a drop of olive oil would do nicely. I use this on any of my birds who have dry skin on their legs (especially some of my older feathered kids) and it's wonderful.
Good luck.

ah i see

no it seems there is no wound left just the swelling going away

i had also thought's that he might have a splinter in there from the wooden cage but my zebra is so tiny i couldn't find any splintters
