Is this normal?

Post by sparrowsong98 » Fri Mar 16, 2018 9:14 pm

I noticed my male zebra finch has a peely looking beak, so I thought I would just ask if that is normal. This pic pretty much sums up the peeling, and I would prefer not to get another, because he bites.

As I am looking at the pic, you cant really see the peeling. I should put up a zoomed in version.

the pink color is pretty but is not common for zebra finch which should be bloody red if we add the peeling so for sure there is an issue , i think there is carotenoid deficiency, supplement some Vitamins [Vit A]

haroun They do not eat veggies, but I have some vitamin drops, I just havent been putting them in. If I put some of those in their water will he be good? The lighting made his beak look a funny color, but it is normally red.
