Well I thought we had this problem beat, but unfortunately a few of Greta's wing feathers are again curled. I don't know when she could have slipped out to visit the hair dresser though. ;)
Anyway, I did a search on google and came across something called a "french moult" and wondered if anyone has encountered this disease and what they felt was the reason for it. There seems to be some controversy on the exact cause. Poor nutrition, enviromental influences, and polyomavirus are listed as possibilities.
I would really like to resolve this issue as these malformed feathers annoy Greta and are unsightly.
Thanks in advance for any help.
