Deformed Beak?

Post by KNG5 » Fri Jun 01, 2007 5:24 pm

I was looking at my four Society nestlings today, and noticed that one's beak looked a little funny. They all seem to be acting fine, though. They even try to bite me! I'll attatch some pictures. Let me know what you guys think. Sorry about the quality. I actually filmed him with a camera and then captured some pictures out of it and put it on the internet. I'm not sure where my actual camera is, so yeah..

...yes, looks like the tip is crossed...if the baby can eat, it's not a big issue...will likely just need regular trimming throughout its life...

Unless there's some way to correct it now while its still so young...but I don't know if that's possible...
A bird in the hand...requires some serious washing up...
