Blood on Beak

Hello I noticed on my Hen this morning that she has some dried blood round the top of her beek i couldnt get close enough to have a good look as she was sitting on the chicks but it looked as is shed had a fight with the cock, Could this have anything to do with one of the chicks dying through the night? I was jus wondering if anyone could help me.

How is the hen doing? Chicks die for so many reasons - the blood on her beak may have nothing to do with it. Has the male been getting aggressive with her?
