What do you use when a nail bleeds?

the quick on finches nails is further back than you think,just nip of the pointed end to start with then the next time when you feel a bit more confident hold the claw up against a light bulb and you should be able to see the dark bloodline and just take off a little more you dont have to be drastic, a little at a time will do fine
