Have you talked to the person who has the aviary where you bought him? Maybe a flat perch would be more comfortable. You can cut one from a flat piece of 3/4 inch pine molding. Lowes has the unfinished molding strips about 6 foot long, but you can cut it & take the size you need. Then cut slots in it to fit through the wire for a perch. My birds tend to like them. From images I have seen of mite infestations, there hasn't been any that look like what your bird has. Are there any good avian vets in your area?

I would seriously at least clean and apply an antibiotic cream to that wound daily. Corkysgirl posted a great link ( https://ladygouldian.com/Foot-Problems ) you should check out and maybe call or email Laraine those pictures if you can't get to a vet.
Bumblefoot (which would be my guess), scaley mite (though it doesn't look like mites to me) and/or pox need treatment and should not be put off.
The wing may simply be damaged because he's favoring the foot and rubbing against more things with his wings.
good luck

I agree with debbie276...my first thought was bumble foot. An avian vet is your (and your birds') best bet. They will take a sample and biopsy the wounds, to see if they are in fact wounds or lesions.
