Ginene
Thanks. He's been a 'little' off for quite sometime. He's in a small flight with his buddy Fairy and relies on him quite a bit. Has ligh, has heat, eats and drinks. I dont have 4 in 1. His bum is clean as of today, but poor little fella just about has a heart attack when I go near the cage (after I grabbed him yesterday).
I'm watching him eat right now, clean his beak and up on a branch grooming with his buddy.

Teagarden
Hi. Their diet has quite a bit of variety, consisting of good seed mixtures, spray millet, eggs, meal worms, insect pate, fruits, vegetables, wild grasses, cuttle, grit, multi vitamin ulternated with vit D drops.

Ginene -- I'm probably med-happy, but I know how fast these little guys can decline since they have such an incredibly rapid metabolism and illness tends to progress much faster. So I tend to treat maybe when others wouldn't.

From what I found in researching Priscilla, I found there was a very good chance the balance issue was due to an infection and something that would be unlikely to go away on its own. So medicating seemed the most prudent course of action.
Same here, I think, especially with the soiled vent.

But that's great that it's better today! (the bum)
It's possible it could just be due to sitting in the nest more due to dizziness. But again, that loss of equilibrium is a problem.

Thanks.
They don't have a nest to sit in. Their perches are wood and natural branches.

lovezebs -- Ah, gotcha.
Sometimes when they have a nest and feel poorly, they'll poop in place and it sort of sticks to their bum as a result.
