the baby is about 3+ weeks old now and slowly starting to peck on seeds now. But I am still feeling him with formula several times a day.

Everything is fine ! :lol:

Just getting caught up and saw your thread. All I can say is WOW :shock: So far you are the only person we have heard of that has had any luck in keeping a chick alive with a hole in the crop.

We'll keep our fingers crossed for you and the chick.

In the past I would have said that this is a fatal problem, but now I can tell folks about your experience, and not to give up hope.
