I suggest in future you place the bath water in for enough time for it to be used and then remove it...better safe than sorry.

That's what I do. I enjoy watching them have their bath. And because they know I only leave it in there for a little while, they come right down and hop in. :lol: As soon as they've splashed the water all over everything, I use this as the perfect time to give the cage a bit of a wipe down, then remove the bath and put fresh paper down. I just don't like leaving it there for them to poop in.
