Well, I am tickled  The 3 are all begging to be fed now, eating very well. I love this grey baby color, another question. Do you think it will be a RH PB B or possibly a BH PB B, what other possibilies could it be?
PS Tiffany, I got my book today and love it (also the samples, I will be visiting your site). Should help keep track of things.....should help me learn this stuff too. Thanks for all your help and advice.
Thanks Bill, Do you have blues?

I think you said the hen is BH PB? I don't remember if the father is RH or BH or PB or WB though.
What are the parents visual colors? And what is their lineage (if you know it)?

If the father is RH - then the only way you can get BH babies is if he is Red/Black.
In which case you could get both BH cocks and hens since the mother is BH.
But if he is not /BH.. then all of the hens will be RH and all of the cocks will be RH/BH.

Same goes for the breast color.
The would both need to be split for White if they are visually purple in order to produce any WB babies :)

Surprises are always very nice, though.
I had no idea my hen Ruby was /Lilac.. and then she popped out three LB sons..
This being one of them

The 3 Amigoes now recognize me as Mom... or at least the food source. They are doing well :D

Glad to see they are doing so well. Isn't it a thrill when they start coming to you? My two Stars are just about weaned, they only take 1/4 to 1/3 of the food I used to give them, so they are eating real food. I've also seen them at the water drinker, so they are almost at the point of turning their back on me. :( :)

Today was the first flight. One on my head the other clear across the room  The two youngest chicks are very outgoing and the oldest one doesn't even bother to come out of the nest box until the food is prepared. Then he jumps out , runs over and pushes his siblings out of the way. They are too funny. The middle aged one has discovered millet spray but just hasn't figured it out yet.....he pecks at the seed that has fallen off but mostly chews on the stem :?
