I could get a pic. The vet said to mix 4 parts water with 1 part baytril, does that sound about right? Twice a day for 7 days. I have a ceramic heat lamp warming his cage too.

Someone else will have to answer the dilution rate as the Baytril I got was already diluted. Good luck!

Re: Is my male blue gouldian ill, or just a quiet bird?
Had him on baytril for last 24 hours now, he's acting a bit strange. He's very active though he looks a bit dozy in everything he does. He's going around each of his food bowls and looking in each one, occasionally pecking at the contents, he's also going up to the very edge of the cages, to the bars, and looking out through them. Sometimes he'll fly up to the perch and he seems a bit clumsy in that, he missed a few times.
I've also seen him go up to the water (has baytril in with it) he'll dip his beak but it's only for a second so i'm not sure he's even drinking it. He also isn't closing his eyes anymore, both are open all the time.
Anyone know what might be up with him?

I spoke to the breeder I buy from and he said that 5ml baytil with 20ml of water is way to strong, he suggested we mix 0.4ml baytril with 100ml of water.
Anyone else got advice on this? The bird has been acting very strange, the leaflet that came with the baytril does mention that giving to strong of a concentration of baytil may cause preciptiation (a rush) I think his head must have been spinning, bloody vets! The vet specifically told me to mix 5ml baytril with 20ml water and that is far to strong according to the breeder I know.
