Fluffed up birds - Drastically changed diet, very sick birds

Hi. I noticed you live in Las Vegas, NV. I am here too... Just a couple of thoughts in case you ever need something in an emergency: Just4birds on RanchoxDecatur (NW side of town) carries lots of different bulk seeds. They are open 7 days a week. They also have items like bags'o'bugs, millet, cuttle bone, mineral blocks etc.

As far as Probiotics... try Whole Earth (there are a bunch all over town) store the brand is Primal Defense Probiotics (the basic one not the 'extra'). Either powder or capsule. If you use the capsule just break it apart and sprinkle on anything wet/damp like eggfood, greens etc.

Wow! I seriously thought I was about the only finch lover on the west coast. I'm kidding, but this forum always gets people from Florida, Texas, Louisiana, and a lot of places that are in that area. I'm just surprised that there is someone else in Vegas that joined.

The only bird stores in town I've visited are Bahnna Bird Farm and Fore the Birds. I live in the SW part of town so most of these stores are very far away from me. Bahnna bird farm has a large selection but their birds always look sick and unhappy to me. I'll try out Just4Birds to see what kinds of seed they have. Thanks for the tip.
