Thank You. attached is a photo of the both of them only a couple hours into living with me. I think I will call them Fillipo and Fay..... My brother encouraged me to name them Pillage and Plunder. Do you all name your birds as well?

They are real beauties =D> And yes I do usually name all of my pairs as well as those that I expect to keep....which has become more that ever expected. :oops:

Is the first picture the one thats sleeping a lot she looks a little fluffed to me,they are nice looking societies

Great looking societies. It looks like the one in the first pic just came out of a bath.. :lol:

And most people on this forum name their birds. It's much easier to call them by name than to say, "the female _____ finch". Plus it's fun to name them. :D

Its actually the one in the first picture that is the active one. The darker crowned one is the sleeper. He was grooming and shaking when I took that photo and just happened to catch him in that shape.
