Cuban Finch not doing well...any suggestions?

What should I do? I have a male Cuban Finch that started acting funny a day or so ago. He is puffed up, sleeping, and staying on the bottom of the cage. His feathers are disheveled, but that is the only physical sign that I see. I am keeping an eye out to see what his poops look like. He is already on a treatment schedule of S76. I put a heat lamp on a section of the cage. Anything else that I should go ahead and treat him with?

Really hard to say what to give him if we don't know what's wrong but it should be fine to give him a little NV Powder or Guardian Angel or Vitalize in his drinking water. The heatlamp is always a good idea as soon as you notice a finch not feeling well. Good luck!

Didn't you just get this bird a few weeks ago? Gosh I hate to hear this.... I agree with Liz's advice.. it is about all you can do for now. Best of luck!

I did get him a little over 3 weeks ago.
Here is an update: I put on a heat lamp and he did go right to it. He seems to be more more frisky now. He is eating a drinking and even went for a bath, but still sticking by the heat. When wet, he could not fly. Is that normal? My other birds bathe and then take off flying. It definitely looks like his weight is down also. I also just gave him vitalize. Anything else I should do? Would a preventative broad spectrum antibiotic be bad since I don't know what is actually wrong? I just hate to lose him and could have done something.

Did you get him from Floyd? I would contact him and tell him the current situation - perhaps he might have some kind of idea as to what might be wrong or how to treat the bird.
Cubans are pretty hardy birds so knowing this poor baby is this sick I would treat him with a medicine but I'm unsure as to what to suggest.
Perhaps a medicine like the 4 in 1 that covers several things and also use a yeast medicine like Medistatin.
