OK,I last night doing my evning check I noticed on of my young ones (around 7/8 months old) cuddled up in corner, when I went to look at her she tried to get away but was really struggling so I put her in hosital cage with vitamins heat etc,and was watching her for a while and noticed she was not moving her left side at all,at first I thought it was damaged wing,so I made sure perches food etc was low down for her.
Anyway, got home from work today and she had died

and looking at her there seemed no obvious damage to the wing, did not feel brooken to my hand, and a broken wing would not cause her death would it? Was wondering if they can have fits/stroke?

I'm so sorry for your loss.
Yes finches can have strokes and/or heartattacks. I have one (beautiful) male Gouldian that has mini strokes when I change the papers in his cage.

Toby, so sorry to read about your loss. I had a shaft tail not to long ago that I lost to what we think he had a stroke, I saw him going through it. Maybe she hit the side of the cage in a fright and caused a tiny brain bleed that lead to the stroke. Poor thing.

So sorry for your loss! I'm sure they have strokes if they can have heart attacks. I have a Parrotlet that has seizures.
