Hi guy`s
I have a question, today when i got in i took a check on my birds (weve been running around like crazy here so ive been MIA and only have had time during the morning to check my birds and top of their dishes after cleaning them) anyways i noticed while i was watching my birds Gypsy my Lady Gouldian pooped out poop with seeds in it,so i checked the cage paper and sure enough there was plenty more all with seed :( what do i do? is she going to be ok? how do i treat her?

According to Lady Gouldian it could be incomplete digestion, Giardia, hypermotile intestine.

Yes, I would at least double it if not more.... I always at least double the dose when giving it to my birds. Good luck!

you can 4 times the amount...on the directions it says 1/2 tsp to 2 quarts so mix 2 teaspoons to 2 quarts of water for 7 days

I just did this for one of my birds after consulting on of the ladies at Lady Gouldian.

give her a few day, keep a heat lamp on her 24/7 until she feel better, change the paper towes under her daily so you can track if she is getting better. Don't give her any veggies or romaine while medicating her, you only want her to drink her medicine and not get her moisture from veggies.

Hey guy's just wanted to update and let you know Gypsy is doing much better :) She still has a little bit of seed in her poop but not nearly as much as there was when i first posted-
I was wondering for my Gouldians is there a treatment im suppost to be giving them? or do i just let them be and treat when they need to be treated? whats your routine for caring for your Goulds?
Id like to get another pair later on but i want to be sure that they dont get sick like Gypsy....
