I know I am supposed to use ronex 12% for finches, but I found some 6% pretty cheap. Can I just double the amount of powder, but keep the water the same or does it not work that way?

Yes, that would definately work...doubling the powder while keeping the same water amount will do it!!!!!

That's what we did before they came out with a 12%
But to be honest - I've always done 4x the recommended dose (for 6%) for the first 3 days, then 2x the recommended dose for the remaining 4 days. Then I repeat treatment after 10-14 days.

I did this based on other breeders' recommendations. Never had a problem mixing it at this dosage.

Morning Bird actually has a 12% now, but I haven't ordered any because I've never sold any of the 6%!

Tiffany. I have done the 4x's for 3 days and single strength for the rest of the treatment with no issues what so ever.

Yeah, I was price shopping online and found a decent price on the 6% at a place that doesn't stock the 12% so I think I will order it For the number of birds I have, it should still last a while even doubling the powder. I wanna be ready with this stuff so I have it when I need it!
