Scratching

The 2 new Javas I got yesterday spend a lot of time scratching. I checked them for fleas but found nothing. Their skin is in good condition. Could the reason be that they are going to be molting soon (they are only 2 months old).

thats highly probable,i would try them with a bath and that will help the feathers along as they will naturally preen themselves after the bath i suppose it feels like getting your hair cut and all those loose hairs down the back of your neck drive you crazy
