I have 2 gouldians that have developed a bald spot.

One on the side of the neck and one on the back of the head.
I thought, maybe mites/lice. So I pulled them and sprayed them. But in looking closer, they are bald like they were plucked.

Or is it iodine deficiency?

Hard to tell from pictures why they may be bald. If you think they are being plucked maybe you could try to separate them. If they continue to go bald then it would be safe to say it's a balding problem. Here's a really good article on balding if your interested, iodine isn't always the culprit:

The back of the neck, flanks, back and tail feather missing on a bird most likely indicates feather plucking by a cage mate.

I realize it is about zebras but the concept is the same.

I have the 2 separated from the others.
I had never seen any aggression w the gouldians.
But the pluckor can be so "sneaky."
