Do you give your breeding Lady Gouldians Vitamin E supplement for better fertility?

It looks like there are some definate benefits to adding E, I have not tried it yet.

Have you seen this article on it?

If you go to the Finch Information Center's website there is a chart of nutrients and their sources ( http://www.finchinfo.com/diet/nutrients_and_sources.php ). If you don't feed these sources you may want to supplement vitamin E.
There also are charts for nutrients: signs of excess ( http://www.finchinfo.com/diet/nutrient_excess.php ) and Nutrients: Signs of Deficiency ( http://www.finchinfo.com/diet/nutrient_deficiency.php ).
All a good read.
I've never had to supplement Vitamin E myself.

Trish before considering adding "E" to their diet if you are feeding any type of pelleted diet you will need to look at the label and see if they are already getting a good amount in the food already. You will need to look at all foods you are giving them already and take vitamin and mineral within those foods into account, this includes the seed, some seed mixes contain vitamins as well. Over doing any vitamin or mineral can often do more bad than good.

Thanks all! I was just curious. They already have a good mineral/calcium mix, seed mix with vitamins (and a mix without) and fresh food. I think they are fine with that now that I've researched more.
