Baby zebra...large pure white poop

One of my zebra pairs hatched out three babies. Two were kicked out and are being fostered by another zebra. The remaining bird is growing well but has very large, solid white poop, 1/4 inch wide, 1/2 inch long every single time. I've never seen finch poop look like this, large, bulky, pure white. This bird is almost feathered out, should be ready to come out of the nest soon but is very sleepy. The other two are much smaller, being raised by a seven year old, having never been a mother, so I'm not surprised. They are very active and animated. They've already come out of the nest though they are 13 smaller. Is there any health problem associated with this abnormal looking poop, and seeming lethargy?

Oh, the poor thing doesn't sound well. Here's a link to an article that might help: http://www.mfgouldianfinches.com/Poopol ... gyPg1.html. Roughly half way down it talks about white poop.

I would give ladygouldian.com a call and explain what is happening and see what she recommends.

Thanks! There is definitely something very wrong. I have 19 birds now and not one of them has this issue. The poop is extremely large, and completely white. The baby had full feathers, over 2 inches long, and hasn't even tried to come out of the nest or walk around at all. I just took it out to look at it and it's feet are deformed, as in, toes won't spread and it can't walk right. Took a few steps and threw it's foot forward to do it. Don't think it's going to fly any time soon. No wet vent.
