she just raised 4 healthy chicks and right after she started showing some illness signs like having her underbeak looks wet and bit middle chest, yesterday found her dead. her mate looks very healthy and the chicks aswell so i dont think its canker. i supply my finches daily with ACV. Forgot to mention she was having trouble laying the next eggs.

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of you hen. What did you mean by the middle of her chest? A discharge from the beak could be a respiratory problem. Not sure without a little more information. I'd watch the babies and dad closely for signs of illness.

by middle chest i mean not the whole chest is wet only the middle area

Cant offer any advice on the reasons of her death but can offer my condolences. Sorry for your loss. Hopefully one of her chicks will color out just like her.
