I noticed feathers sticking out on this bird in the aviary, so I caught it to find this wingtip inflammation.

Suggestions? Antibiotics? Pull those last 2-3 feathers out?

I've never seen anything like that before and I would presume and infection/antibiotics but please wait until someone with this kind of experience comes online.

Is he acting and eating normal? I would provide a heatlamp as a first step for him immediately.

Did the lavendar recently molt? It could be a cyst.

It is fairly large, you may want to consult a vet.

Flying and eating are normal. This one has been put into the indoor hospital cage with a heat lamp.

On hand I have Amoxitex and Ornacycline. I'm leaning towards the Ornacycline (Tetracycline) for 5 days.

I am trying to find something more related to the wing likeyour lavendar's.

The mass looks to have that yellow look to it under the skin as they described.

You may need a vet to help you with this...it is in the best interest of the bird.
