So i made eggfood last night because Lolita was laying again. I forgot about it today and came home. Just now i found the bowl with a little bit of egg left in it all dried up and Lolita was next to the bowl. If she had ingested any, would it hurt her?

I give my birds hard boiled eggs thinly spread on a dish in the morning and remove it the following morning. I don't add anything but hand feeding formula to them to dry it up a bit. As time goes by the egg drys out, I haven't had a problem doing it this way for many years.

When I give them egg food, if there is any chance that they will not eat it quickly, I will spread out the egg. That way it will dry w/o a wet center like a pile would. That seems to work OK for me.
The other factor is the temp and humidity in your house.
If the egg can't dry out, it could go bad.

I do it the same way Debbie & Gary mentioned.

I do the same as the others. I let it dry out and change it every morning.
