Flower question!

Post by katrina » Sun May 06, 2012 7:04 pm

So I was wondering, I'd like to put some dried flowers in my birds' cage, but I was thinking - is that harmful? Are there pesticides on flowers from flower shops that would be poisonous to finches?

I would use either silk or plastic...dried flowers may be either eaten or broken down for nesting material. Some dried flowers you would have to check if they could be toxic or not. If they get wet they may mold.
