I can't find the post ,where it says pine is bad for the bottom of the aviary.
I saw the "what to use on the bottom of the cage"
But didn't find anything about not using pine.
Someone on Face Book says they use Pine for their aviary and I wanted to link them to it.
I don't know how long they have been into finches.

Cedar avoid, aspen is good
