Is there a ratio to dose S76 in smaller quantities? I SCATTed all of my birds but 2 cages. I need to use S76 on them becasue They contain juvies. It would be wasteful to make the huge amount that they have on the bottle. 2 little bowls of water would be at most 8oz

S76 dosing calls for 5 ml of S76 to 2 liters of water, so you could do .5 ml to 200 ml water. And you don't have to give them a full supply of S76 water either. When I dose my birds, first I take away all water sources the night before. The next morning, I make up a fresh batch and fill each water tube only 1/3 to 1/2 full instead of full. I leave this all day, then that night, I empty all the water tubes again. Second day, repeat the first day. Day three, back to full water supply again. You repeat this dose schedule the following week, and the week after that.

Okay, so 200 ml converts to about 6 and 3/4 oz.... But how in the world do you measure .5 ml???

I'm not sure- is s76 a liquid or a powder concentrate?
If it is liquid, a medicine spoon might not be the best tool for the job; in my experience, some of the medicine always sticks to the side. Of the tube, thus, not delivering quite the full dosage. Plus, your spoon my not have markings below 1ml.
You might be better off using a pipette (they make them with and without volume markings) or a handfeeding syringe, which you can find at pretty much any pet store, either with the bird stuff, or in a "first aid" section.I think both of these would do a better job at forcing all of the liquid out, so you get the full volume.
Of course, if S76 is a powder, ignore all that! Haha

S76 is a liquid, so I don't know if that dosing spoon would work. I use a syringe which holds 6 ml, and has markings on the side to break down for partial mls. You can probably get them at any pharmacy. Before I needed enough to order a supply, I went to my local pharmacy, explained that I needed a couple of syringes, and the pharmacist just gave me a couple. My Pyrex measuring cup has ounces on one side and mls on the other side.

When I need small dosage of medications I would use a syringe its a alot more accurate. Once squirted in I the suck up the mixture to help clean excess of inside of the syringe to help make sure I get most of the medication in the water. As long as you keep to the water to med ratio there shouldn't be any issues of the Keds overdosing or under dosing the birds.
