I'm not sure how, but we've been getting quite a few yellowjackets in the house lately....and I'm concerned about our little zebra finches! We have 5 birds across 3 cages, and tonight I noticed a dead yellowjacket in Paddington's cage (she's my handfed/tame finch). I'm guessing she killed it out of an "OMG WHAT ARE YOU" reaction, and she seems fine...but does anyone know if yellowjackets (or other wasps) are dangerous for finches to eat (even if it's just an accidental taste)? What if they get stung?
Thanks in advance!!
Are yellowjackets dangerous to Zebra Finches?

A yellow jacket or wasp can/has the potential to kill a small bird if stung.
