What do I do now.

I had a Gouldian Hen who seemed egg bound this morning, so I put her in a cage by herself, provided warmth, liquid calcium, humidity, and put a little olive oil on her vent area. She passed the egg and it had a crack in it.
I am at work, and my husband said she is still sitting on the cage floor and is still puffy. She passed the egg just a short time ago (within the last hour).
Does an egg bound hen usually try to lay more eggs?
Do I need to provide any medication?
I will keep her in the quiet cage till she perks up and feels better.
She just finished up a molt about a month ago, and I left her and her mate together to rest but did not provide a nest box. He has still not moulted. Should I keep them separated now?
