cut nails too close society on bottom of cage

yesterday i needed to cut some of my finches nails...........well i cut one society too close, she bled a bit, now on bottom of cage..............she is eating and drinking though...........should i just leave her alone..........she seems ok otherwise

Has she stopped bleeding? If not you need to get some Kiwk Stop powder pronto to stop it. It's available at many pet stores including Petco and is not expensive:

I agree she needed the quick stop powder. you can also use cornstarch in an emergency. If she is not bleeding, she probably is in pain and needs some time to recover. Let us know how she does.

I would have some Kwik Stop powder on hand at all times if you keep finches. I bought it for my dogs nails but I've had to use it on a finch or 2 over the year because I've nicked the quick while cutting their nails too. A little finch could bleed out in no-time without it.
