help please

Post by PrettyBird » Sun Feb 10, 2013 5:56 pm

My newly aquired female star finch has some sort of huge lump on the side of her head. Just above her ear, and behind the eye. That eye has a saggy stretched down eyelid.

IS this an infection of some sort? Now im worried...

sorry its blurry, she got out of my hand and I had to catch her in the house. The picture doesnt do it justice. Its hard to see, and much bigger than the photo. It appears to be filled with a fluid? Her bottom lid of her eye is streched downwards, and the swollen lump is near the ear area (above it)
