Does anyone know the difference between Chlamydial (med: Tetratex) and non Chlamydial (med: Amoxitex) bacteria? How to distinguish the symptoms? Which one is more dangerous?

One more question: can we use both at a time?

I would not use both at a time if I were you.
The difference is in the type of bacteria the two antibiotics treat.

Amoxitex (Amoxicillin) is for non-chlamydial bacteria like Salmonella, Steptococcus, Enterococcus, Pseudomonas, etc. It's indicated for use with E.coli but my understanding is that E.coli has developed a pretty good resistance to amoxicillin due to it's widespread use.

Tetratex (Tetracycline) is generally used for chlamydia (psittacosis), mycoplasma and digestive/intestinal bacterial infections (although many like Staphylococcus, Streptococcus have developed more of a resistance).

Thanks a lot. Another question, if amoxicillin is not effective enough then can I use Ronivet instead. It is also effective against Salmonella and E.Coli, and it is safer. Further, so far I know, Salmonella and E.Coli are protozoa related diseases, not bacteria. I may be wrong.
