I went on vacation last week and the birds in my aviary ran out of water and my housesitter failed to notice until 2 societies died. Now my male gouldian cannot fly, he can only hop around on the floor. Could this be from dehydration? What can I do?

Also, I have a yellowback gouldian hen that has been looking puffy for a long time now. I tried adding some supplementals and did a round of s76, can that be given on the skin like scatt for a better effect?
Please note that this hen is not in the aviary, so was not dehydrated, she's just always puffy, her beak needs trimming often, and her nails are always crazy. I trim them often, but grow crooked and weird, if that means anything.

How long ago was this lack of water to the male? Maybe waiting a bit and see if he comes out of it would be good?
S76 is for ASM, if your hen has an infection it will not help. It's hard to tell what could be going on with the only symptom being fluffed. :(
hope they improve for you

Difficult to say what is happening, however, provide them electrolyte in the water.
