I haven't experienced anything quite like that myself. I have had a bird have seizures repeatedly when I believe it was injured, probably in a night fright. I also once had some babies that seized, necropsy showed ecoli infection. I hope you can figure it out, or maybe it won't happen again.

Ay dios mio :shock: I hope you can figure it out! I think it could have been from stress or being shocked/scared?

only way to be sure of course would be to have the bird vetted. If he is otherwise acting o.k., I'd probably just keep an eye on him. Any animal can have a seizure. Often times it can be medical problems ranging from hupocalcemia to tumors to seizure disorder. There are also many strains of domestic animals that are prone to seizure disorders as well as prone to fright induced seizures. Keep an eye on him and make sure you have a fresh calcium source just in case although that doesn't sound like it's the issue.
