signs of oversupplementation??

Hi, I was just wondering what signs of "over-supplementation" would be? I couldn't find anything while searching the web. I read info all the time that says to don't over supplement, but how would you know if you are??? I use Morning Bird products regularly, along with a few other things like Avi-greens, but now I've started wondering "hmmm, maybe I could be over supplementing" but how would one know this? What are some signs? My birds get a wide variety of seeds, pellets mixed in with egg food, and a variety of fresh veggies daily. Plus they have organic kelp, oyster shell, mineral grit, and egg shells always available to them to peruse as they wish. They seem pretty healthy, with a few odd ball occurrences that pop up (1 boy with a problem growing wing feathers, and a couple of juvies have a dry flaky looking beak - appears to be growing out) but other than that most seem well, flying & singing like normal.

Anybody have any ideas, comments, etc.?

Thanks, Jeannine

The Finch Information Center's Nutrition area is very helpful:

Towards the bottom are links to signs of excess as well as signs of deficiency with many other helpful links having to do with nutrition :)

You have to be very careful about giving multiple sources of supplements from different vendors. It's very easy to overlap and give too much

Check your pellets, many of them have vitamins added, so then giving them both pellets and the Morning Bird vitamins could be too much. Also, veggies have various vitamins in them.
