I noticed today that my female gouldian finch, which could have air sac mites (which I'll be treating hopefully tomorrow when I receive the stuff in the mail that's on par with Scatt) has white little feather things like something I would describe as stripes on the top of her head... could she just be young and finally getting all her full colours in? Or is that something else? They kinda look like white pin feathers all over her head, but it seems weird to me that I've only just noticed them and everything... what would they be?

In my experiance with Budgies (getting finches tomorrow will get pics and post em when i get them ) pin feathers can just appear overnight so i wouldnt worry
