Whats going on with me female Gouldian finch?

My female looks like this today and I have NO clue why. I have noticed last night she wasn't sleeping as low as she usually does. Like her legs are straight.
She went for a bath and she looked totally pathetic after, like she has missing feather.
Whats going on?

Is your concern her stance or that she appears to be missing feathers? After a bath it wouldn't be unusual for them to look like that, I think what your seeing is the brood patch.

The way she is. Notice on the first pic how taller she's standing compare to the male? Like her legs are straight. She is usally all pretty 10mins after a bath, but her feather are now all ruffled, like she been into a fight but she hasn't. Why arents her feathers pretty, shiny and straight? Its pooffed!!!
Her legs, I can't tell whats wrong, but she keeps on standing so high, like she wants to look over something.
NEW pic, could this be it? her leg looks swollen? Could it have been from laying eggs? She gave 6 eggs on 2nd batch.

Can you get a picture of her when she is dry??? You know your birds best, so if she's acting odd chances are something is up. Keep a close eye on her and update the forum so the experts can keep track of her symptoms. Good luck...hopefully its nothing

I agree with Ginene, hard to tell what's going on with her being so wet from her bath.

Thats the thing, this last pic was taken a couple hours after her bath. I have a bad feeling about this. She still looks like on this las pic. I can see her breathing, like her whole body in each heartbeat moves. She started covering her head under wings.
I mean, they both had.bath at same time. On first pic, you can see male all dried up while the female looks awful.

You must have seen her after a bath.
They will get like that from the water, then after they preen themselves, they will look normal again.
Their stance will also change as they are drying off.
However, if a long time after her bath, and her feather are not normal looking, laying down flat against her, then you have a problem.
I would then put her into a hospital cage with a heat lamp 24x7, and keep a close watch on her.
I do have some birds that take a bath several times a day, and thus looks scraggly several times a day. So to know for sure, you need to remove the bath for a day, and see what she looks like.

I agree with Gary too...if this pic was taken a while after her bath and she has had NO access to bath water, then this is a problem. I read somewhere (cant remember if it was on this forum or Finchaholics/FB) that finches can get a "sweating" sickness. I think it was on finchaholics. I will look for the post and see if there's info for you on it.

Found it...but it speaks about canaries. Not sure if finches can contract this illness too. Says its caused by ecoli...hopefully an expert will help you soon. Good luck!!!

I don't think it's likely but I've been wrong before.
Is the nest wet from diarrhea?

The nest is clean. Out of 5 eggs, there are only 3 in nest
unattended since this morning. They seem to be kinda covered
in some sticky stuff. As if another egg broke in nest.
Shes sleeping, all fluffed up.

Does she just look wet or is she wet? Could it be a egg that broke and it dried to her feathers making them look like they are wet?
When you say she is fluffed up do you mean she is dry now and fluffy?

Under her is all messed up, the feathers. I can see her breath, her body rocks with her heartbeat. Fluffed up as she got into a fight. Last night she was sleeping with legs straight stretched up.

I agree with Debbie. I am very much sure that it could be an egg that broke and most of the egg white stuck to her feathers and dried up as most of her feathers that look wet are in her abdominal area. She looks like she is in standing position because I think some of egg white stuck on her leg skin too & she is not able to bend her legs properly. Catch her, clean her feathers/skin with lukewarm water and put her into a hospital cage with a heat lamp until all her feathers get dry.
