5 feather plucked African Fires

So, I went to buy an African Fire finch.

When I got there he had 5 males in a cage. I went to buy one for $15 which is really cheap, but he said: Mandie you can have all of them for $20 I really need them to go today. What was I to do??? When I looked at them they were not in 100% condition and had lived a pretty rough life in an outside cave looking aviary.

I bought all 5, wormed them when I got them home and they are now in quarantine.

How would you go about improving their health and appearance, they a bit feather plucked around the back of their heads but I don't think they are sick, just a bit rough looking.

I gather I need to give them egg food every day and some greens etc but is there anything else I can do or give to them to improve their condition?

Any advice would be great as I am going to have to move them on once I am happy with their condition.

I'm not familiar with fire finch but that's what I would do with gouldian, owls and goldbreast. They aren't going to look 100% till they molt again but hard boiled eggs, fresh seeds and greens will give them a good boost.
best of luck
