I was reading an old AJ Mobbs book on Gouldians and it suggests using a Vapona fly strip as a prevention of air sac mites. Apparently back in 2001 it was removed from the shelves for causing cancer and was available in the UK.

Maybe Poohbear can answer this....
Is there something similiar that people use that is similar to Vapona?

Not to my knowledge ...sorry. It's a new one on me.
