Gouldian coughing

I have one male Gouldian and 5 females in a large flight.
The male is puffed up and will cough quite a bit.
I have treated for ACM in the past, so I don't think this is his issue. His droppings are soft and yellow and he is losing weight. He still eats and drinks.
I have a lot of different medications from Morning Bird, but I don't want to guess which one to give. Gut or respiratory symptoms can confuse me!

I had a female like that.
I put her in a hospital cage with a heat lamp going 24hrs, and I treated her with SCATT cuz ASM was my suspicion.
A few weeks later she seemed fine, not coughing any more.
Maybe the heat helped her recover and fight it off, I don't really know. But heat seems to be something that seems to help in many situations.

Yellow yet normal in size can be yeast
yellow, large, not too runny with a sweet smell, lethargy and weight loss can be campylobacter
yellow and watery can be cochlosoma
mustard colored, either campylobacter or cochlosoma

I would contact Laraine at https://ladygouldian.com/ describe the symptoms and I'm sure she will ask any other pertinent questions and be able to point you in the right direction.

If it is ASM it should clear up in 24 hours of treatment and you should treat all the birds that are with this one. Personally it does not sound like ASM to me.

Best of luck
