Apple cider vinegar

I see a few old post and I'm just wondering , wat is the use of it on birds ( more like finches)? I noe u can mix it with water n use it as a disinfectant , any other use ? Thanx in advance

ACV is very good for lowing the pH of the crop and therefore reduce chances of yeast.
It is high in Vit C too I think if I recall.
Adding it to their drinking and bathing water also helps keep pathogen counts in the water down, mainly due to again the added acidity.

I add it to my water because my water is alkaline, and the ACV brings the pH down. You need to know the pH of your local water before adding ACV, as you wouldn't want to add it if you already have very acidic water.
