Tap water, chlorine and fluoride

I have been using bottled water for my birds (70+) (lady gouldians, canarys and societies). Not only does it get costly but it is very inconvenient. I have been researching water filters and there are only a couple that remove fluoride. Does anyone use fluoridated tap water for their birds? I would like to get a large water filter pitcher, (pur) but it does not remove the fluoride. Really need some help with this. I've been researching this subject off and on for several months now and could use some help. Do any of you use tap water? Is your water fluridated? Do you filter and what type filter do you recommend? Thank you for your help

I use tap water, only use bottled water when I am taking birds to a show or mart (just because it is easy). I have no idea if fluoride is added to my tap water, I'll need to check that out. I do add apple cider vinegar to my water because it is alkaline.

I use a std Brita filter jug probably similar to what your thinking about for the birds water, i'm not sure if it removes the flouride but it sure does make a huge difference when i use same filtered water in kettle as it still looks like new (we've very hard water where i live so kettles get large deposits of limescale when filled with std tap water).

I use tap water too. I really should add ACV because our water is alkaline but I never get around to it.

I use filtered tap water from the refrigerator for their drinking water, because I have hard water and use the tube waterers. For their bath water, it comes straight from the tap.

I have a PUR water filter on my kitchen faucet, so I use filtered water for my birds. I also have an avian water conditioner made by ZooMed, which I add to their drinking and bath water.

I use good old fashion water straight from the tap. I just look at it this way: does anybody filter those ponds and streams wild birds drink from?" I add a couple drops of vitamins and that's about it on my end

NY adds fluoride to our water too! The Avian Water Conditioner, by ZooMed instantly removes chlorine and chloramine from water. It also contains electrolytes.

We all, including our pets, drink well water. It is sweet tasting but on the hard side and contains no added chemicals.
All of the pet stores I go to use tap water which not only contains fluoride but nearly 150 other chemicals as well (like most city water).
Everyone is fine
