My male Java sparrow is sick

This morning when I uncovered my two Javas, the male didn't hop off his perch to eat. He just wanted to sleep. He was good yesterday, although I noticed he did not eat much of the fresh papaya or a small piece of cantalope that he likes. He didn't take a bath as usual when I put fresh water in later that day either. Otherwise, he seemed fine and was eating seeds. He is now eating a little bit of Lady Gouldian Finch white prozo that I moved close to the perch. I have a ceramic heater on 60w & some light & heat with a 40w old type bulb. His 30 x 18 inch cage is partially covered. I have not seen him drink water. Yesterday he ate the frozen corn & peas with Avitech vitamins. Both birds get the same food. The female, whcih is in a separate cage next to him is good. She is eating. She did not eat much of the papaya either, but other than that, is fine. I'm going to try some Higgins millet, as he never seemed to like the millet I got at the bird show. They both have Higgins dried egg food & are going through a light molt (a few feathers). Neither one seems to like hard boiled shaved egg. These are the only birds I have, He is two years old & she will be three soon. They were not exposed to other birds. Is there anything else I can do? The droppings are not as firm & there is some clear water around them. Have not seen him drink water yet. Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
