Hi

Does anyone know whether Moxidectin works as a contact spray in the aviary, to kill any worms or eggs on the ground and ornaments?

Or does it only work when ingested?

I haven't heard of it being used as a contact spray. I believe it is similar to ivermectin, which is what I use as a wormer on my horses, and as a mite killer (internally) for my birds. For a contact spray for insects, I use Avian Insect Liquidator, which is mostly permethrin, I believe, and safe to use as directed with even baby birds. We have lots of bugs here in Texas, so I have to spray my birdroom regularly. I am embarrassed to say how many of those giant roaches (waterbugs) I will find belly-up on the floor!

Sally , let me rephrase that "we have lots of bugs here in texas" it should have read " we have lots of bugs here in the USA and the other name for them is politicians"
