Deformed feet and lower beak accident

The white zebra finch (Miriam) has always had deformed feet that curl inwards - she fell from the nest as a baby which may have something to do with it. However, the feet lay sideways and flat to the ground (so she kind of sits on them) - they frequently get congealed with gunk like food etc and I regularly clean this out but they are always looking bad. yesterday when I did this I noticed she had a scab type thing beneath her lower beak - I dampened it and it started to come off and then it did come off and there was blood! And quite a lot. I managed to stop it but she has been put in isolation now. She was previously in an aviary with added disabled access :) Now she is in a small cage, her foot deformity is more evident - and now she has a blood stain on her chest and a crusty blood area below the beak. I am now thinking she would be best living in a small cage so I can be more easily able to clean those feet which I see now need to have the nails trimmed (yikes). I assume another sympathetic friend needs to join her? Anyone know what on earth the lower beak thing could be and whether I am doing the right thing by her?

take that bird to an avian vet...it would not be kind to try and muddle by without proper help.
